Six signature finishes. Each hand-applied using traditional techniques passed through four generations of Moroccan artisans.

Every finish we offer is achieved through traditional hand-applied techniques — not factory coatings. The result is a surface with depth, warmth, and character that evolves over time. Each piece becomes entirely unique to your home.

Unlacquered Brass

Our signature finish. Raw, uncoated solid brass that develops a rich, warm patina through daily use. The surface will darken and develop character over months, creating a living finish that is entirely unique to your home.

Patina Timeline

Visible change in 2–4 weeks. Full rich patina develops over 6–18 months.

Care

Can be polished back to bright brass at any time with gentle brass cleaner, or allow natural patina to develop.

Best For

Those who appreciate the beauty of natural aging and want a fixture that tells a story.

Antique Brass

A hand-darkened finish that gives the appearance of aged brass from day one. Achieved through a traditional oxidation process, then sealed to slow further change. Ideal for those who want the patina look immediately.

Patina Timeline

Pre-aged appearance from installation. Minimal further change over time.

Care

Wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners which may remove the oxidation layer.

Best For

Period homes, rustic interiors, and those who love the aged look without the wait.

Polished Brass

Mirror-elegant and luminous. Our polished brass is hand-buffed to a high lustre, then left unlacquered so it will gradually develop patina over time. The brightest and most striking finish in our collection.

Patina Timeline

Begins to mellow within 2–3 weeks. Transitions from mirror-bright to warm golden lustre.

Care

Polish with a brass cloth to maintain shine, or allow natural evolution for a softer glow.

The Living Finish Philosophy

Oil Rubbed Bronze

A deep, dark finish with warm copper undertones. Applied by hand using a traditional wax-rubbing technique, this finish highlights the curves and forms of each piece. Rich highlights emerge at edges and high points over time.

Patina Timeline

Subtle lightening at contact points over 6–12 months, revealing warm brass beneath.

Care

Wipe with a soft cloth. Re-oil annually for even patina, or allow natural wear patterns to develop.

Best For

Dramatic interiors, dark kitchens, and those who appreciate contrast and depth.

Hammered Copper

Hand-hammered solid copper with a textured surface that catches light beautifully. Each hammer strike is visible, creating a surface that is both tactile and visual. Develops a green-bronze patina in high-moisture areas.

Patina Timeline

Rose-gold deepening in 1–3 months. Beautiful verdigris possible in humid environments over 1–2 years.

Care

Wipe with copper cleaner to maintain brightness, or allow natural oxidation to develop.

Farmhouse kitchens, artisan bathrooms, and those who love handcrafted texture.

Brushed Nickel

A softer, cooler alternative. Hand-brushed nickel plating over solid brass gives a contemporary silver-grey appearance with subtle directional grain. More resistant to patina than our brass finishes, offering a low-maintenance option.

Very slow. Maintains appearance for years with minimal change.

Care

Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the brushed texture.

Best For

Modern minimalist spaces, those who prefer consistency, and mixed-metal interiors.
